Things are going just dandy here in Ucon. Tyrell has FINALLY reached the point where he is ready for summer and water sports. However with the summer comes more working in the landscape buisness. This summer he will continue to work in the early morning for UPS and then work 11hrs a day for Picture Perfect Landscaping, this way he will have every Friday off from landscaping. He is also hoping to quite delivering for UPS on Saturdays.
We went down to Rupert for the weekend for a wedding reception, at least that is the reason I am claiming. Tyrell had to work for UPS on Saturday so he didn't make it down until 4pm. The reason he went down, although we doesnt want to admitt it, is because he brother Dallas was there and their cousin Wade from Utah was going to be coming. So the three guys took to the homemade snowboarding ramp out of the giant williow until midnight. It is always so much fun to be with Tyrells parents and of course Cecilia and Cathrine. All of the kids had fun playing with grandma's toys downstairs.
On a completley different note, I have started Family Indexing for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. For those of you who do not know what it is, I basically just read a scaned copy of a state/federal census from like 1850 and type in the information. It is somewhat time consuming but I get lost in the work. I started only a week ago and have indexed over 3,000 names. My goal for the year is to reach 100,000. Tyrell tells me to slow down before I get burned out on it, I just laugh and ask him if I've ever been burned out on anything. I really enjoy doing the work, especially because I am unable to do the work on my fathers side (it seems to be lost.)
In other Maughan news here in Ucon, Emma is turning 3 this march. She has grown up so much and has become my little helper (although I do feel like its forced sometimes). I am also celebrating a birthday this march, the big 24! I know there really isn't a difference in any of the twentys until you get past 25. Tyrell just realized that he was getting older when I reminded him that he is turning 27 this October.
Anyway we are always do good. The kids are happy. Emma and Noah are always upstairs running from room to room. This is how I'm able to index names. Lauren is usually happy. She will not let me sleep through the night though. Also things are going well with the renters. Nothing to complain about. We love you all!

Noah is in NURSERY

The best news of this week is that the Nursery leaders allowed Noah to join their class a month and a half early! We are so grateful because he is such a handful especially when we have Lauren to take with us. Emma said that he had fun and played with the toys. I'm not sure how reliable this information is though because she also said that he broke all the toys. Noah has also discovered my stamping up pads a couple of time. We found him with dark blue fingers and some prints on the door. He was upset when I took them from him, he kept yelling, "mine"(by the way we are still not sure where he learned that word/meaning, but we have a feeling it came from Emma.)
Anyway we are pretty excited about this. Also Lauren has started sleeping through the night again. I think that she just likes to play games with me. It is so much harder to have to wake up in the middle of the night when your not used to it.
The renters downstairs seem to be pretty happy and not have too many problems. They got a calling in church with the primary and seem to be excited about that. Also an older memeber of our ward, who lives across the street, continues to plow out our driveway and "parking lot" with his tractor. He is wonderful to us.
Tyrell and I continue to play Settlers of Zarahemla every night, mostly because I hope to be able to win SOME day. We will be heading down to Rupert, Idaho this next weekend to see the family and to go to a wedding reception. Tyrell is dying to go snowboarding at Pomerel, but we cannot justify spending the money on a lift ticket just now, so he will probably be hiking with his brother Dallas (because there is no way that I can possible keep up with him).
This weekend we are hopeing to see some old friends from the single days. Aaron and Kaylee Clawson will be up from Utah to register their car (its a lot cheaper in Idaho) and to go over our investments and possible refinancing our home. It will be tons of fun to see them again. Well thats about all thats going on for now. Cecilia and I are going to go get some immunizations for Lauren and her kids. TONS OF FUN! Love you guys! Rose

Pictures of getting ready for church

Here are some great pictures of the kids before heading off for church. Noah has almost out grown his little suit and Emma is so excited for Nursery that she woke everyone up early. I hope you all enjoy these.

Well not much new has happend in the last two months. Lauren has been rolling for about a month now and is slowly getting back into sleeping through the night. (It is so much harder getting up in the middle of the night once you've experienced sleeping through the night.)
In the beginning of January I took Tyrell down to SLC to go snowboarding with his brother Dallas. My sister-in-law and I hung out in the hotel, swimming, eating, shopping, and having a great time (because we got to leave Emma, Noah, and my nephew Hyrum in Ucon.) Tyrell and Dallas got done on the first day only to tell us that next time we do something like this we just cut out the snowboarding and all just hang out at the hotel. Apparently they aren't as "young" as they used to be.
Tyrell finally finished texturizing our kitchen walls and I got to paint them. I wanted a darkish blue kitchen with white trim, but ended up with a play-dough blue (so I will have to repaint soon.)
We have gotten so much snow recently its hard to believe that its only February. Everyday we end up with quite a bit more snow. Tyrell has made a HUGE ramp out of snow in the front yard (our lawn decoration apparently) and he has been taking the kids out every day sledding and using his snowboard. He his such a nut.
Everything is going great with our renters. They are rarely home and when they are we can't hear too much. I do feel sorry for them because their appartment is right underneath Laurens room. Now that she has been waking up in the night, I feel I should move her so she won't wake up the renters, but then I realize I need sleep too. So for now she stays where she is.
Tyrell was recently called to be the cub scout master in our ward, which he loves, and somehow I was drafted because I'm the wife. I finally got a calling to be on the enrichment board. I'm excited I don't have to teach in primary or anything like that. We are excited that Noah will be going into nursery in another month and a half. He is such a handful these day and he has such a temper. Although not a Sunday ever goes by that he isn't treated like a prince by the older women in our ward. They just love his big cheeks, blue eyes, and bleach blonde hair.
Life continues to go well and we are all happy in our little town of Ucon.
